About Frances:

Dear potential students:

This is Frances, I have been working in Chinese mass communication field for more than ten years, including radio and television, and my Chinese pronunciation is at a professional level. I taught non-Chinese to learn Chinese because I think it is fun. I joined a Mandarin Club recently, I found some people are just too shy to practice their Chinese. It is important to encourage students, also, the teacher have to choose a interesting topics.

So, if you choose me, we will start with a practical way. For example, how to order in a Chinese restaurant, how to read a short story from a newspaper, how to write or read email from your friends, how to make friends in Chinese, ect.

I have been a correspondent of China Central TV. I traveled a lot, covering different stories, so we can talk about news, or other contemporary ideas. You not only learn Chinese but also learn Chinese culture and get to know what are happening now. Of course, with kids, I always pick up some encouraging and positive stories.

Let's start to learn Chinese. It is not easy but we will have a lot of fun.
